BETA Backing is a Winner at Your Horse Live

The British Equestrian Trade Association enjoyed a return visit to Your Horse Live as sponsor of the Main Arena for a second year. Its team of experts provided free safety checks on riding hats and body protectors throughout the show, which took place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on 14 and 15 November.
“Your Horse Live fits extremely well within BETA’s portfolio of high-profile sponsorships, which also includes Bramham International Horse Trials and the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams.
“It provides us with a fantastic opportunity to promote rider safety and engage with the diverse range of horse owners who come along to make the most of this hugely popular pre-Christmas shopping event.”
Almost 300 visitors entered the BETA Prize Draw to win a pair of tickets to Olympia, The London International Horse Show, which was bagged by lucky Debbie Cook, of Redditch. Main Arena spot prizes provided by BETA member companies were also won throughout the two days and goody bags were handed out to visitors to the BETA stand.
BETA’s two mechanical horses, Trigger and RoboCob, proved real crowd pleasers and succeeded in raising more than £500 for The Brooke. The simulators were operated by volunteers from the charity and allowed scores of youngsters to try out their skills in the saddle.
As part of its commitment to the equestrian trade, BETA hosted the Best Stand Awards for a third year. These highly prized accolades are presented to retailers that had gone that extra mile to create stands that are both attractive and highly effective.
Winner of the Best Large Stand award (more than 12 sqm) was Feedmark, with Katie Hough Equine Art as runner-up. The Best Small Stand title (12 sqm and less) went to Fynalite, with Whicker runner-up.
