BETA rewards the best nutritional feed helpline

BETA is searching for the winner of the Nutritional Helpline of the Year award, which is being sponsored by STUBBS ENGLAND for the first time. Consumers who have received outstanding support and advice from a feed company helpline can reward its great customer service with a nomination for this highly regarded accolade.

One of the British Equestrian Trade Association's 10 annual BETA Business Awards, it is designed to celebrate companies that go the extra mile to deliver sound expert nutritional advice and information for those caring for horses and ponies.

“As a company that produces a wide range of essential equine equipment – including the famous STUBBS ENGLAND feed scoop and range of mangers and hay feeders – we are extremely pleased to take up the sponsorship of this award,” said STUBBS ENGLAND managing director Chris Bradwell. “By doing so, we are reinforcing the important role that nutritional helplines play in helping owners to give their equines the best diet possible.”

BETA executive director Claire Williams added: “We are thrilled to welcome STUBBS ENGLAND to our team of industry supporters. Many leading feed manufacturers offer a helpline run by qualified nutritionists who handle a large number of queries every single week by phone, email and through their own websites. The Nutritional Helpline of the Year award is a fantastic way for members of the equestrian community to recognise their hard work and dedication.”

Nominations for the STUBBS ENGLAND Nutritional Helpline of the Year award should be made by 30 November. Forms can be downloaded at beta-uk.org and posted to BETA, East Wing, Stockeld Park, Wetherby LS22 4AW, or emailed to philippa@beta-uk.org.

The winner of the award will be announced during the 2019 BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Monday 21 January.
