Members of the trade invited to make nominations

The search is on to find winners of the 2013 BETA Business Awards, prestigious accolades that celebrate and reward significant contributions to the equestrian industry.

Now in their 10th year, the awards will be presented during the BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Sunday 17 February 2013. The categories are the Export Award, TSM Rider Award, SEIB Retailer of the Year, BETA Lifetime Achievement Award, Equine Careers Sales Representative of the Year, Harry Hall Retail Employee of the Year, Trade Supplier of the Year, Joules Equestrian Event of the Year and the Haygain Nutritional Helpline of the Year.

“The BETA Business Awards are a high point in the equestrian industry’s calendar,” said BETA executive director Claire Williams. “They continue to grow year upon year, with an increasing number of nominations and a palpable sense of suspense and excitement. The awards are eagerly anticipated and a fantastic way for the industry to recognise the achievement of both individuals and companies.”

Members of the trade are invited to make nominations in all except the SEIB Retailer of the Year category, whose shortlist will be compiled from those businesses nominated by consumers. Both trade and consumers will be able to nominate feed companies for the Haygain Nutritional Helpline of the Year and the Joules Equestrian Event of the Year awards.

Entries for all awards for which the trade can nominate is 11 January 2013, except for the Lifetime Achievement Award deadline which is 18 January 2012.
