Get snapping - and win a luxury hamper!

The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is inviting everyone to “get snapping” and enter their horsey-themed photographs in the 2018 BETA Equestrian Calendar Competition.

Twelve images will be selected to appear in the calendar and the one judged Best in Show wins the lucky entrant a fantastic luxury hamper. All images must be supplied in a digital format – minimum size 150 x 115mm (1,722 x 1,358 px) at 300 dpi – and emailed to Tina Hustler, Each submission should include the photographer's name, address and a description of the image (including details of what is featured). Photographs should be taken by the person submitting them and not subject to copyright. The deadline for entries is 22 September 2017.

“BETA's slimline calendars are always extremely popular,” said Tina Hustler. “They are printed with all the important show dates and have plenty of space for appointments and reminders. The fact that images at the top of each page represent an equestrian moment in time makes it even more special, whether it's a photograph taken at a show, one of ponies playing in a field or horsey fun captured on the yard.”
The 2017 competition was won by Leah Logan-Mace, of Mayfield, East Sussex, who sent in a photograph titled “Hacking in Joyden's Wood, Kent”.
