Henson Franklyn returns to sponsor BETA business awards

The British Equestrian Trade Association is pleased to welcome back Henson Franklyn as sponsor of the BETA Business Awards’ Equestrian Event of the Year category. This highly popular accolade is one of 10 awards designed to recognise individuals and companies making significant contributions to the equestrian industry.

The Equestrian Event of the Year supported by Henson Franklyn calls for consumer participation and visitors to the country's leading horsey events – in or outdoors – are invited to put their favourite shows forward for consideration. The category also includes nominations from members of the trade who provide feedback on an event's provision and services for tradestand holders.

“We are delighted to be able to support BETA in its efforts to provide the industry with a focused look at some of the best aspects of the equestrian industry,” said Tim Henson, of Henson Franklyn. “Setting parameters for and then judging the Equestrian Event of the Year has synergy with our own business, as we are present and working at all the best events!”

BETA executive director Claire Williams added: “We are extremely pleased that Henson Franklyn is supporting us once again. We can hardly believe that the awards are now in their 14th year and have continued to develop over time to reflect changes in the business community. Today, we have four awards that require consumer feedback, allowing members of the public to show their appreciation for the hard work of those working in the B2C environment.”

In addition to The Equestrian Event of the Year supported by Henson Franklyn, BETA Business Awards categories open to consumer nomination are the SEIB Retailer of the Year, Haygain Nutritional Helpline and TSM Social Media Award.

Nominations for The Equestrian Event of the Year supported by Henson Franklyn should be made by 2 December online at www.beta-uk.org or by post or email to the BETA office.

Winners of the BETA Business Awards will be announced during the BETA Gala Dinner, at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham, on Sunday 22 January 2017.
