EQUINE NUTRITIONIST AND FEED ADVISOR REGISTER

ENFAR recognises professionals who conduct themselves responsibly according to the BETA ENFAR Code of Best Practice. The Code requires a member to ascribe to the principles of evidence-based recommendations and a commitment to work collaboratively with other allied-professionals. ENFAR does not rank nutritionists or feed advisers or offer guidance on an individual’s capability to give advice in particular areas – the individual member is responsible for justifying their credentials for any areas of specialism they declare.
The roles of nutritionist and feed adviser differ and more information on how the BETA ENFAR defines these and the criteria determining who fits into which category can be found here
How to use ENFAR
Verifying someone is on the register – searching for someone by name will confirm whether they are currently on the register, their employment status and their credentials such as qualifications and experience.
Searching for a nutritionist – if you are seeking the services of a nutritionist, you can select the criteria you want to search by such as qualifications. If a nutritionist isn’t currently able to accommodate new clients, they won’t appear in the search results.
Searching for a feed adviser– feed advisers are more likely (but not always) based in a specific geographical location so please consider this when conducting a search.

The BETA ENFAR Directory is due to go live in October 2025
