Dedicated to improving knowledge, standards and professionalism within the trade, BETA organises training courses covering a wide variety of topics. These include courses on Rider Safety Equipment, including Hat and Body Protector Fitting, Equine health which is a course leading to the qualification to sell equine and pet wormers, Business Management, Lorinery Retailing (horse bits and bitting), Digital Marketing and Social Media and Saddle Fitting (booked through the Society of Master Saddlers).

Some of these courses are available to BETA members only, while others have no restriction.

BETA is regarded by retailers as the primary source of training courses for those involved in the equestrian industry. Our courses are run for the trade, by those involved in the trade, specifically designed to suit the needs of the equestrian and country retailer in developing business and satisfying customer needs.

Courses are open to the whole of the equestrian industry, although BETA members will receive discounts where charges apply.
